Our goal is to provide the necessary educational resources, travel services, and technical advice to enable Academics to propose, coordinate, and run an amazing course that involves travel to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Our programs with academic orientation are designed to provide students and educators with valuable educational experiences, connecting them to different natural environments and cultures to discover.

Levels of Service

Academic Trips

Developed for university, college or school groups including appropriate accommodation and services for students traveling on a strict budget. The educational content of these programs is reinforced by knowledgeable lectures given by local experts. Trips are oriented to different fields of exploration featuring cultural immersion; nature observation; and service learning.

Alumni Trips

Trips designed in order to offer comfort, relaxation, and exclusivity to these special groups. Programs include first to luxury accommodation, upscale and personalized services. Lectures are included during the program in order to add an educational content.

Cultures of Ecuador

A close encounter with Ecuador’s rich cultural diversity, going from the Andean region to the Amazon Rainforest. This program will introduce students to the history, culture, and traditions of some of the most representative indigenous groups in the country, as well as the Afro-Ecuadorian community.

Pre-Hispanic Ecuador

Learn about the history of ancient civilizations settlements, their complex societal hierarchies, their economic system and the causes of their cultural extinction. Go through archaeological investigations to discover more about these faded civilizations.

Community service in the highlands of Ecuador

Work with kids from low income indigenous communities and assist teachers and parents in their projects to improve kid’s educational conditions. Learn about the importance of community work while working together with the goal of creating a better learning environment for these kids.

The Amazon & Galapagos: Service-learning program

       Explore the Amazon Rainforest  and the Galapagos Islands, both considered Natural Wonders for  the Humanity. Learn about the amazing biodiversity of the  Amazon Rainforest and the complex relationship of local indigenous cultures.

Exploring Tropical Ecosystems

Explore the tropical ecosystems of the Ecuadorian Coast, going from the Mangrove forests, one of the world’s most threatened tropical ecosystems, to one of the largest tropical dry forests remaining in the world at the Machalilla National Park.

Supporting the Conservation of Marine Ecosystems

     Help a local environmental NGO in their efforts to preserve the marine ecosystem in the Pacific coast of Ecuador.  This organization is handling at the moment specific research projects regarding turtles and marine bird conservation.

Amazon Rainforest Expedition

Explore one of the world’s greatest biodiversity hotspots while visiting a Scientific Station located adjacent to the Yasuní Biosphere Reserve. A great educational experience!

Galapagos and its Environmental Challeges
